CONFIRMATION

CONFIRMATION

"But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen"

2 Peter 3:18

Here at Saint Mark's, confirmation is more than a class, it is a ministry through which God is active in your life. It is a time to confirm or affirm the promises made to our young people by God in their Baptism.

Confirmation is a place where we learn about the promises God has made, why God has made them and how this impacts our lives today.

In order to understand this, we need to look deeply into the Bible to see how God has worked throughout history and how God still continues to work today. We will also learn about Martin Luther, his understanding of the Bible, and how Luther saw faith, active, in our daily lives.

Confirmation at Saint Mark's

Confirmation is designed for students in 7th, 8th and 9th grades.  We are happy to offer in person Confirmation this school year. Confirmation is Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m.
